Synopsis
Near the omo river in ethiopia,a boy’s coming of age ceremony
is about to be ruined by an armed group thus taking away his innocence.
The main character
Ino is a teenager that is about to enter adulthood during the ritual in this short film.
He is a calm and innocent child, with a promising future as a contributor to the village.
He is eager to learn and is ready to step up and face the responsibilities he will acquire after the ritual.
Secondary character
Newaya is the village chief. He’s a wise man, with great knowledge used to ensure the well being of his community.
He has many responsibilities including guiding and educating the youngest.
In this short film he is leading the ritual in the coming of age of Ino.
The opponent
Tulak is the villain of this short film. He is someone who shows no mercy or pity towards others and has only one goal which is to extend his army to become more powerful by enrolling children from villages he attacked. His group and himself wear scary masks that give them a group identity which aim to frighten their prey.
The Village
A peaceful environment where a tribe of people lives. Everyone is preparing for the ceremony of the coming of age of Ino by decorating trees and preparing special dishes.

Somewhere in a dark and obscure place where weapons are stocked for future attacks. We wanted to emphasize the AK as a symbol of the Mercenaries’ deadly power, as their goal is to eliminate who ever stands in their way.
